I started LCI in 2019 after working for a number of years as a Superintendent at Whiting Turner, one of the largest general contractors in the country. In that role, I over saw construction crews working on over 500,000 square feet shopping malls and sensitive federal government facilities. From that experience, I discovered that my real dream was to start my own company working with other small business owners. I moved to Tampa with no connections and got LCI off the ground by taking whatever work I could find. My first job was hand-fabricating pergolas for a residential contractor. Thanks to a few entrepreneurs and local government officials who took a chance on LCI, I have been able to create new jobs in our community and help other local entrepreneurs make business dreams a reality.

Hi! My name is Laura, and I am the Office & Accounts Manager for LCI. I’m a Florida native and enjoy time at the beach and being in the sun. I am also a part of a fitness boot camp community which has become a major priority in my life recently! Before I began my journey with LCI in 2023, I worked as a project assistant at a small 6 environmental consulting firm. At this firm, we mostly did "bugs & bunnies" surveying on properties ahead of construction. The experience gave me valuable insight and knowledge into the permitting process, which I now use to help manage projects at LCI.

I began my construction career working for a developer under Hooper construction in 2018. I started in Tallahassee building The Odyssey and Hotel Indigo in the college town developments. Starting out as a laborer, I progressed to become a superintendent and eventually left the company as a project manager. This bottom-up experience taught me how essential each and every role on the construction site is to achieving the final goals of a project. In 2021, I had the opportunity to move to the Tampa Bay region, where I met Chris and joined the LCI team. Since then, I have helped the company grow by taking on some of our most significant projects to date.
